Activity Purpose/ Summary:
We had a valuable opportunity to collaborate with our partner, Jijenge Youth Organization, engaging in an open discussion about emotional wounds and social challenges, which are critical psychological concerns. Some of the topics we explored included:
– How our experiences in the field have impacted our mental wellbeing.
– How frequently we seek support when feeling overwhelmed.
– The influence of our lifestyles on our behaviors.
– The boundaries we encounter in our professional roles.
– Moments of vulnerability we have faced.
– The resources available to support us during challenging times.
This dialogue provided a meaningful platform to reflect on these important issues and share insights based on our collective experiences.
Personnel Input:

Achievements:
Everyone shared their challenges experienced in the line of duty, and we provided a safe space for open and candid discussion.
Unanticipated Achievements:
It was surprising to discover that many of us carry deep-seated challenges that have gone unrecognized for quite some time, manifesting as wounds. The discussion highlighted the crucial role of speaking openly as a pathway to healing, underscoring its significant importance.
