Activity Purpose/ Summary:
After weeks of planning, online meetings, and a shared sense of anticipation, our much-awaited annual event—now in its second edition—finally came to life. Staff and volunteers from 15 different organizations converged at Moi Stadium in Kisumu, turning the venue into a vibrant hub of color and laughter. By 8 a.m., excitement was already in the air as participants began arriving for registration. Our team, the defending champions from last year’s tournament, could feel the friendly pressure building; everyone was eager for a chance to play against us. The day officially kicked off with an opening prayer, grounding us in gratitude and unity, followed by an energizing Zumba session that got everyone moving and smiling. Meanwhile, the organizing team worked diligently to mark the fields and finalize fixtures, making sure everything was perfectly set for the thrilling matches ahead.
