Activity Purpose/ Summary:
We recently had the opportunity to participate in a Men’s Dialogue organized by the Jijenge Youth Organisation. The discussion focused on the often unseen pressures that men face, especially the common expectation that they should always “have it all figured out.” This gathering was designed to provide a safe, supportive environment where men could open up without fear of judgment and speak honestly about the burdens they carry. It was a heartfelt moment of connection, vulnerability, and healing—a reminder that men, too, deserve space to be heard, understood, and supported.

Personnel Input:
We had the privilege of leading the session, offering guidance and a listening ear to everyone who attended. We started 15 minutes later than scheduled to give more participants a chance to join, and it was great to see not only how many people showed up but also how openly they shared. What really stood out to us was how freely everyone expressed what was on their mind when given the space and opportunity to speak.

Achievements:
Given the opportunity to lead the session, and based on the feedback to hold it more frequently.

Unanticipated Achievements:
how participants openly shared their thoughts

Supporting Partners:
Jijenge Youth Organisation.
