Activity Purpose/ Summary:
We had the privilege of conducting our introductory session at St. Chrysostom Kudho Secondary School, one of our valued partners in delivering Life Skills and German language classes. The session gave us a great opportunity to connect with the new cohort of students, introduce them to how our programs are structured, and highlight our objectives and focus areas for the current quarter. This official introduction helped clarify expectations, strengthen our partnership, and set a positive foundation for meaningful learning and engagement throughout the term.
Personnel Input:
The session focused on exploring the broader essence of education in all areas of life. We began by engaging students with a reflective question: What role does education play in one’s life, whether formal or informal? The students actively participated and shared insightful responses, showing a strong understanding of education beyond the classroom.
The central theme of our discussion was resilience. We emphasized that the foundation of any meaningful education should be the ability to equip learners with resilience—the capacity to navigate challenges and remain steadfast in the face of adversity. One student described resilience as “the ability to cope and bounce back when faced with challenges,” a definition that became the guiding framework for our session. This perspective shaped our conversation and reinforced our commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence, but also emotional strength and adaptability among learners.
Achievements:
Maintained a strong partnership with the institution.
