Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The concept of the life tree aims to shed light on uncomfortable emotions. Similar to the roots of a tree, these emotions provide depth, and we can use the experiences gained from them to improve how we treat ourselves and others.

Personnel Input:
The Better Me personnel used pictorial illustrations to help children understand how the symbolism of a tree relates to a human being.

Achievements:
At the end of our session, the children were aware of how they can transform challenging experiences into opportunities for growth, rather than letting these experiences become sources of distress. We emphasized how facing challenges can build resilience and foster empathy towards others who may be going through similar experiences.

Unanticipated Achievements:
The children were aware of how they could leverage their uncomfortable experiences for personal growth.
