Activity Purpose/ Summary:
After a brief explanation of what we had planned to do in class, we went outside and started with a quick warm-up by doing some stretches. That activity was followed by a circuit training consisting of 6 exercises, which they had to do for 1 minute each and for two rounds. It’s called circuit training because the exercises take place in the form of a circle.

Personnel Input:
The lesson began with a brief discussion of the day’s plan and an explanation of circle training. We then moved outside and started with some stretches, some of which were a repeat from our last life skill lesson on stretching. Once everyone was warmed up, we began the actual circle training. The first exercise was jump squats, followed by push ups. The third exercise was a partner exercise, where one person lay on the floor and lifted their legs while the other person stood behind and threw the legs down again. The fourth exercise focused on balance, with partners standing on one leg and throwing a ball to each other. The fifth exercise was dips, and the last exercise was lunges. Each exercise was set for 1 minute, followed by a short break, and we completed two rounds.

Achievements:
The boys worked on their fitness and also seemed to have quite some fun. Doing sports is a great distraction from their usual routine, and they also got to see and try the right techniques to prevent themselves from getting hurt.

Unanticipated Achievements:
It was actually harder for them to do the exercises than expected, so it turned out to be a really good training session. It also highlighted their weaker muscle groups and showed them what they can do to improve.
