Activity Purpose/ Summary:
Various panelists were invited to engage in an interactive session with medical students from the School of Medicine at both Maseno and Uzima University. The discussion topics included the ideal structure of one’s social life, strategies for coping with burnout in both career and professional life. The final topic explored the consequences of failing to balance one’s social and professional life.

Personnel Input:
Courtesy of the Jijenge Youth Organization, we were invited to make a presentation alongside other panelists from the medical and mental health fields.

Achievements:
We had the opportunity to interact with other stakeholders who were invited to participate in the event. Additionally, we seized the chance to organize a mental health wellness session and team-building activities with the medical students at Maseno University.

Unanticipated Achievements:
The challenges young professionals are facing in the different fields of study and the opportunity to have our programs gain ground at an upper level.
