The day began very early with food preparation and organizing for the classes which we gave a name to “Academies”. The intention apart from the hot and and delicious served meals, we intended to open a different platform of skills and knowledge sharing. We divided the kids into two groups and had to classes running. One for the senior group which we did employability that was handled by Kenya Poultry Farmers. Other classes that took part were for talents/sports development, child protection and safeguarding, and importance and benefits of education.
We later had a beautiful opportunity to share Hot chapati and chicken and eventually closed the day with a football tournament.
