Activity Purpose/ Summary:
Today, our team, along with our dedicated volunteers and friends from Penn State University and Homeless of Kisumu, embarked on a refreshing sunrise hike to Korando Hills. The primary goal of this activity was to witness the breathtaking sunrise, fostering a deeper connection with mother nature and ourselves.

Our journey began early in the morning as we ascended the scenic trails of Korando Hills, eagerly anticipating the first light of day. The experience was both invigorating and serene, providing us with a moment of reflection and appreciation for the natural beauty around us.

Following the hike, we gathered around a table to enjoy a delicious breakfast. As part of our tradition, we started with our usual routine of saying grace, expressing gratitude for the meal and the wonderful experience we shared.

The hike was not only a physical activity but also a spiritual and bonding experience for everyone involved. It reinforced our sense of community and our commitment to embracing and protecting the environment.
