Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The engagement was a platform for showing how children within statutory institutions can be responsible in terms of behavior and how they can deal with social issues they are facing in the community. It aimed to instill a positive mindset and promote social responsibility. The activity focused heavily on creating awareness.
Personnel Input:
We coordinated the planning and organization of the entire program for them to participate in the activity today. We facilitated their transportation and motivated them during the match.
Achievements:
The kids enjoyed the match, and the minors at the Remand Home had an opportunity to interact positively with their peers from the community. We also had the chance for motivational talks and encouragement from our partners.
Unanticipated Achievements:
We had the opportunity to see some of the minors, previously at the Children’s Remand Home due to criminal cases, return and share their testimonies of change with others.
