Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The celebration day of the school marked the last day of the academic year and signaled the beginning of the holidays. We played games, held a celebration ceremony, and organized lunch.
Personnel Input:
The day began with free time for the children, during which they could play with balls and ropes. Meanwhile, they practiced their performances for the upcoming celebration ceremony. Some worked on songs, dances, or group plays, while others joined the kitchen staff to prepare food. We also organized games like limbo and relay races for the remaining children.
At 12 PM we distributed food (chapati, rice, lentils, cabbage) grade by grade.
The celebration ceremony kicked off at 2 PM, featuring speeches by teachers and an entertainment program. Each grade showcased their unique performances, including dances, songs, and acts.
The day concluded with Kelvin preparing dinner for the teachers.
Achievements:
Celebrating the last day of school is important to highlight the work of the
students and teachers during the whole year. It shows the importance of
educational success and is a kind of gratification for everyone’s effort.
We, as the BetterMe Team, support the children and teachers to enable
this occasion.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The dynamic of this day was fantastic. All the kids had so much fun
during the whole day and seemed really happy to celebrate the last
day of school.
