Activity Purpose/ Summary:
During this session we discussed the topic of critical thinking. This
included the 5 steps of critical thinking; decision making, problem
solving, reasoning, evaluation and analyzing. Ruth Obilo and Yoda
then translated the session to ensure that the children understood the
topic completely.

Personnel Input:
The session was very beneficial as all of the kids in the remand home
have experienced difficulties in decision-making or problem-solving.
In smaller groups, we discussed problem-solving situations.

Achievements:
In the younger group led by Samantha and Martina they had an
important lesson about saying no! In the older group led by Ronja the
children had very good discussions in smaller groups. During the
teaching part especially two boys were very active.

Unanticipated Achievements:
In both groups a number of the kids were very open particularly the kids that had only recently arrived.
