Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The aim of the meeting was to have an introductory session on life skills, by allowing the kids to bring forth their needs in as far as life skills is concerned.
Personnel Input:
The better me personnel engaged the kids in an activity where they wrote down their goals for the year and then from their goal we figured out the kind of life skills that they would need to achieve those goals. We then made a list that created our time table for the year.
Achievements:
Every student in the eighth and seventh grade, got to create a goal depending on the areas in their life where they needed to be better at or achieve, while we had a well planned list of topics to cover that suited their needs.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The session went as anticipated. Nothing really came as a surprise.
