Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The forum was geared towards strengthening rural governance for the right to adequate food. The conveners were aiming at initiatives that are aimed to ensure that vulnerable groups within the counties in the lake basin region enjoy improved availability and access to food using a rights-based approach.

Personnel Input:
Participation. We were invited to interact with other like-minded stakeholders due to our new initiative of the Kitchen Garden concept.

Achievements:
Our participation was valuable in gaining more insight, networking, and understanding the data related to the discussions.

Unanticipated Achievements:
A lot is happening that we’re not aware of, and it’s an opportunity to leverage these spaces to bring about positive change.
