Activity Purpose/ Summary:
This week a number of follow up sessions were held for students in “Form 1”. These students do have their first German language classes these days. This time the following topics were covered

* Alphabet + pronunciation (incl. practicing + examples how to speak)
* Numbers from 0 to 100 (particularly the differences and obstacles compared to English)

Personnel Input:
German language knowledge and experience as a native speaker. Also, experiences from previous classes at several schools during the past weeks were very helpful.

Achievements:
Students got familiar with:

* German alphabet (including German Umlauts) and the pronunciation.
* German numbers, in particular the different way of counting from 20 onwards (compared to English)

Unanticipated Achievements:
* The majority of the students was able to pronounce correctly right away.
* Also, the numbers did not lead to a challenge once the way it works was explained in general.
