Activity Purpose/ Summary:
Today, we taught the students how to do a crossword puzzle. We started off with a simpler one about words in the past tense. After the students finished, we explained one-on-one how they had to do the second crossword puzzle.
Personnel Input:
The Better Me team explained the crossword puzzle and helped the students if they needed help with either of the puzzles.
Achievements:
The students were very engaged and did their best to complete the puzzles as quickly as possible.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The students were patient as they tried to understand exactly what they needed to do. It took some time to explain, and initially, we explained it incorrectly. What’s positive about this mistake is that they gave us time to correct ourselves.
