Activity Purpose/ Summary:
Every Thursday, we gather with our close partner organization, ‘Jijenge Youth’ in Kisumu Town. This Thursday, our discussion revolved around the meaning of Self-Stigma, concluding the session with insights into our self-care strategies.

Personnel Input:
The session was led by Anan from Jijenge. It began with a definition of self-stigma, exploring the understanding of the expression and gaining insights into the various forms of self-stigmatization. Participants shared their personal experiences and thoughts on the topic, creating a very intimate and caring atmosphere during the session. Together, we discovered the Self-Care-Wheel and exchanged strategies for different categories of self-care, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and professional self-care.

The session really contributed to our self-development and self-reflection.

Unanticipated Achievements:
The open-hearted conversation had a positive impact on our well-being and made the day memorable.
