Activity Purpose/ Summary:
This week, we began Chapter Two of “Rugby Roar” with the older class at the Remand Home. We kicked off with a game, followed by a review of both old and new vocabulary. Then, we read through the first two pages twice to ensure comprehension before moving on to a worksheet.

Personnel Input:
Zoey Peters planned this lesson using a new framework, integrating multiple tools from different previous lessons. She took the lead in teaching, while Frederic assisted in facilitating the lesson by providing support in teaching and assisting with grading the papers at the end.

Achievements:
We achieved an understanding of new vocabulary words and gained a better insight into the needs of the children.

Unanticipated Achievements:
This week, we were pleasantly surprised by the fact that many of the boys were willing to read the chapter out loud, which was something they were very hesitant about before.
