Hope for Homeless Children

Homeless of Kisumu

We have been committed to transforming the lives of children in Kenya and this has been consistently shown with the work we do in Korando. But we don’t stop there and  are touching the lives of more children around Kisumu by engaging in community projects that promote the welfare of children.

Imagine a child growing up without the care and support of an adult or any responsible person, growing up in an environment where you sleep on the street, exposed to rain, bitter cold, mosquitoes and lacking food. That is the case for these children living in the streets.

Through our Homeless of Kisumu initiative, we work with these children to give them hope, provide them with soft skills, give them a safe environment to express themselves through sport and arts and share with them a decent meal once every week.

These activities have enabled us to promote positive behaviours in the street connected children and youths. We have seen a tremendous change in these children where we are now able to organize them in groups and sit with them for longer. Through this activity, we have been able to remove 20 children from the streets and take 15 kids back to school. All this has been possible because of your continued support of our activities, Thank You 😊

This month marks one year since we started doing this and the results have been amazing!!
