Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The topic of this English class was to teach the youths how to rhyme in the English language.

Personnel Input:
After introducing the lesson with an explanation of rhyme, they got a worksheet on which they had to find pairs of matching rhyming words. To consolidate this topic they had to write down the matching rhymes into their exercise books and finding rhyming words in a playful way. Then every student got a note with a word that rhymes to another one. Through running around the classroom and asking each other, they had to find their matching note.
The fast ones got the task to create own rhymes.
At the end we danced together to build relationships with the students.

Achievements:
The students worked with concentration and motivation. They fully understood the concept of rhyming and had fun learning rhymes in a playful way.

Unanticipated Achievements:
They understood the topic faster than expected and some of them constructed really creative rhymes on their own.
