Activity Purpose/ Summary:
To prepare the students for their practical swimming lesson, we visited the 6th grade to explain the essential swimming rules. It’s crucial that we adhere to these rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for everyone.

Personnel Input:
We began by asking the students who could swim and who could not, to gauge their experience levels. We then outlined and explained the following swimming rules:

– Do not enter the pool with any injuries or open wounds.
– Use the toilet before the swimming lesson.
– Shower in the changing rooms before entering the pool.
– Avoid eating for 60 minutes before swimming.
– Refrain from running around the pool area.
– Remove shoes and socks before entering the pool.
– Do not dive into shallow water.
– Do not jump into the water or push others in; it is very dangerous.
– Only call for help if it is truly needed.
– Keep noise levels down and respect the hotel guests.
– Always follow the teacher’s instructions.

After covering these rules, we discussed appropriate swimming attire with the students and addressed any questions they had about the upcoming swimming lesson.

Achievements:
We were able to prepare the students for the upcoming swimming lesson and teach them about the rules and the importance of them.

Unanticipated Achievements:
A lot of the students already had an idea about swimming rules and how to behave during the lesson.
