Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The purpose of this English class was to make the learners familiar with nouns and the different types of nouns. This is just to help them become fluent speakers of English and enable them to express themselves freely in English whenever the need arises. I believe that there is power in expression, and therefore teaching them to express themselves in English is quite an achievement.
Personnel Input:
The staff helped the children understand the topic better by explaining what nouns entail. They handed out questions on the topic and once answered, they marked them and helped with revision. They also helped maintain order among the children for a wonderful lesson.
Achievements:
At the end of the lesson, it was evident that the children understood the material perfectly. The fact that they answered the questions well and accurately is a clear indication that the key points were taken home. Their ability to identify different types of nouns was a significant achievement.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The interest the children showed during the lesson was amazing. Their eagerness to learn and their ability to grasp the topic were wonderful.
