Activity Purpose/ Summary:
After reuniting William* with his mother, the next step was to find a school for him to continue his education.

Personnel Input:
We picked up the case officer from the remand home and drove to Williams’s home. After a quick debrief session and assessing the home situation, we proceeded to Mbaga Orphaned Children Center. We were warmly welcomed by the program Coordinator who invited the entire school’s administration, including their resident social worker, for a case conference before they could admit William. Later, we visited Williams’s former school to process the necessary transfer letters.
Achievements:
We managed to get William enrolled in school.
Unanticipated Achievements:
Williams’s mom was able to start a chicken-keeping business thanks to one of our volunteers donation. We also visited Williams’s former school to process his transfer.
