After 7 times in Korando, I keep on learning new things every time I visit, and I keep enjoying the experience as if it was the first one. Thank you to my Kenyan family for making the 15 days of my recent visit so special, so beautiful. I think everyone should experience something like this once in a lifetime.
As always when I visit , I always feel at home. Well, Korando is my second home. Home is where your heart is, and half of my heart stayed in Korando 8 years ago. Now I am half Spanish, half Kenyan ;).
It’s wonderful to feel that you have two houses, two homes. And every time I go to Korando they make me feel like part of the family, they take care of me and treat me with great affection as if I were another daughter.
It has been two weeks full of learning, love, life, smiles, hugs, energy… And so many things that cannot be expressed in words. Of course, it’s not goodbye, it’s always see you soon. I will be back again for sure!
