Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The purpose of the activity was to engage the children and staff at the Remand Home in a football match aimed at promoting teamwork, physical fitness, social interaction, and creating a positive, enjoyable environment. The football game offered a great opportunity for both staff and children to connect, build stronger relationships, and encourage healthy participation through sports.
Personnel Input:
Better Me personnel coordinated and facilitated the activity by organizing the football match, guiding participants, encouraging teamwork and fair play, and ensuring the session ran smoothly and was engaging for everyone involved. They also motivated participants and supported positive interactions throughout the activity.
Achievements:
Successfully organized a football match with both staff and children participating. Strengthened interactions and relationships between staff and children. Encouraged teamwork and cooperation among everyone involved. Promoted physical activity and active participation. Created a joyful and friendly atmosphere throughout the session.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The football game fostered stronger interaction and bonding between staff and children than expected. Some participants who were initially quiet became more active and engaged as the match went on.
