Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The Sports Day at Kisian Secondary School was organized to promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and positive social interaction among students. Through a variety of sporting activities and life skills sessions, participants were encouraged to embrace healthy lifestyles, build confidence, and develop values such as respect, cooperation, leadership, and fair play. The event also offered students a chance to connect in a safe and inclusive environment while strengthening school unity.

Personnel Input:
Better Me personnel coordinated and facilitated the day’s activities by organizing sports competitions, guiding participants through warm-up exercises, ensuring fair play, and promoting teamwork throughout the event. They also led engaging life skills discussions focused on discipline, goal setting, resilience, effective communication, and the importance of making positive life choices. The facilitators encouraged everyone to get involved and made sure all activities were safe and inclusive.

Achievements:
Promoted teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship among learners in a supportive environment. Increased student participation in physical activities and healthy recreation. Strengthened collaboration between Better Me and Kisian Secondary School. Fostered a positive and enjoyable learning atmosphere where students were actively engaged.

Unanticipated Achievements:
A positive surprise was the exceptionally high level of enthusiasm and participation from both students and teachers. Several students who were initially shy became actively involved and confidently participated in the activities. The event also inspired spontaneous peer support and teamwork, helping to create a stronger sense of unity within the school community.
