Better Me SMS Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Better Me SMS messaging program (“Program”). By opting in to receive text messages from Better Me, you agree to these Terms.

1. Program Description

By opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS messages from Better Me related to:

• Volunteer opportunities and updates
• Event reminders and announcements
• Program notifications
• Fundraising and donation campaigns
• Organizational news

Messages may be sent using automated technology.

2. Opt-In Consent

You will only receive SMS messages after providing express consent through one of the following methods:

• Website form with SMS consent checkbox
• Donation form with SMS consent checkbox
• Volunteer application form with SMS consent checkbox

By opting in, you confirm:

• You are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided
• You consent to receive SMS messages from Better Me
• Consent is not required as a condition of donation or participation

3. Message Frequency Disclosure

Message frequency varies based on engagement and subscriptions but will not exceed 8 messages per month unless triggered by direct interaction.

4. Message & Data Rates Disclosure

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.

5. Opt-Out Instructions 

You may opt out of the Program at any time by replying:

STOP
END
CANCEL
UNSUBSCRIBE
QUIT

After sending STOP, you will receive one confirmation message. You will not receive further SMS messages unless you re-opt in.

7. Data Use & Privacy

We collect and use your mobile number solely for purposes related to the Better Me SMS Program.

• We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
• All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Carrier Disclaimer 

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to participate.

10. Changes to Terms

Better Me reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
