Activity Purpose/ Summary:
Time has passed since our last forum, and we organized a parents/caregivers meeting, which was especially significant given our five-year bursary program. This session provided an important space for parents to voice their challenges and perspectives regarding the welfare of the students currently enrolled in various institutions.

We also used this opportunity to explore improved engagement strategies between caregivers, students, and our team as we move forward with the newly formed “Shape” program model. A key takeaway was the need for ongoing communication and shared responsibility in supporting the holistic growth of the students—academically, emotionally, and socially.

Personnel Input:
Made phone calls and sent messages to invite parents to the meeting. We prepared the venue, and as the parents arrived, they registered their names and the students they were representing. The meeting began with prayers and concluded with a word of hope and encouragement from the Executive Director of Better Me.

Achievements:
Meeting the parents and hearing their perspective.

Unanticipated Achievements:
Do a spell check and add a casual but professional tone where needed. Do not make any comments or hearsay about school matters that were not well communicated.

Supporting Partners:
