Activity Purpose/ Summary:
A life skills session on self-awareness was conducted for learners at St. Williams Primary School. The session focused on helping participants understand their personal strengths, weaknesses, emotions, values, and behaviors. Through interactive discussions and group activities, learners were encouraged to reflect on their identities, build self-confidence, and recognize how self-awareness contributes to making positive decisions and maintaining healthy relationships. The atmosphere was engaging and supportive, making it easy for everyone to participate and share their thoughts.

Personnel Input:
Better Me facilitators led the self-awareness training session, facilitated discussions, guided reflective exercises, and encouraged active participation among learners. The team shared practical examples and activities that helped participants identify their personal qualities, talents, and areas for growth, while promoting open communication and engagement throughout the session.

Achievements:
Encouraged self-reflection and fostered positive self-esteem among learners. Strengthened learners’ ability to make informed and responsible decisions. Increased participants’ understanding of their personal strengths, values, and emotions.

Unanticipated Achievements:
The session generated increased interest in future life skills topics and mentorship opportunities. Several participants demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills during group activities.
