Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The purpose of the activity was to equip Nyalenda Football Club with the necessary football materials to support the effective implementation of the Play4Change Project. This support aimed to enhance training opportunities, encourage active participation among young people, and use football as a platform to promote positive social values, inclusion, leadership, and community development.
Personnel Input:
Tasked with sourcing the equipment, managing distribution, and conducting a brief life skills session.
Achievements:
Nyalenda Football Club was successfully equipped with essential football materials needed for training and project activities. The distribution boosted the club’s ability to effectively carry out Play4Change Project activities. Access to quality sports equipment improved the training environment for participating youth. This initiative also increased the readiness and motivation of players and coaches to engage in structured football and life-skills sessions.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The activity helped raise awareness of the Play4Change Project and its goals within the local community.
