Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The lesson introduced students to the “5 Keys to a Healthy Life” in an interactive way. We kicked things off with a warm-up game called “Healthy or Unhealthy?” and then explored the five keys: healthy food, exercise, sleep and rest, hygiene, and feelings and relationships. Each key featured brief discussions and easy activities to keep everyone engaged. We wrapped up the session with a quick recap and a quiz to reinforce the main ideas.
Personnel Input:
We guided the activities, explained health concepts, and facilitated group tasks and discussions. We also managed the quiz and made sure the students understood the practical applications of nutrition, hygiene, water safety, and daily habits.
Achievements:
Students identified healthy and unhealthy choices, practiced short exercises, and reflected on their own habits. They learned about the importance of hygiene, nutrition, rest, and emotional well-being. By the end of the lesson, students could confidently name the five keys to a healthy life and apply them to everyday situations, such as washing hands, drinking clean water, eating balanced meals, getting regular sleep, and building positive relationships.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The children participated very well.
