Activity Purpose/ Summary:
We visited Kuoyo Secondary School for a life-skills session on Discipline in Relation to Success. We discussed self-control, self-regulation, self-restraint, willpower, and consistency as important aspects of discipline. The students learned how discipline helps them avoid procrastination, manage their time, make better choices, and stay focused on their academic and personal goals. We also emphasized that success means doing what’s necessary today—even when it’s not enjoyable—to build a better future.
Personnel Input:
Better Me personnel planned and facilitated the session at Kuoyo Secondary School. They introduced the topic “Discipline in Relation to Success,” explained key concepts such as self-control, self-regulation, self-restraint, and willpower, and guided students through discussions and practical examples. Students were encouraged to participate, ask questions, and connect the idea of discipline to their academic and future goals.
