Activity Purpose/ Summary:
Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of receiving an impromptu invitation to St. Augustine Nyamonye Girls to facilitate a Life Skills and Wellness session for the entire student body. This opportunity came through the kind invitation of Precious Tears Initiative, under their High School Mentorship Program. When we arrived, we started the day with a lively icebreaker to get everyone energized and connected. We then divided the students into three interactive groups to encourage active participation and meaningful discussions. After a brief introduction about who we are and what we do, we joined each group for engaging conversations on personal growth, emotional wellness, and practical life skills.

Personnel Input:
We actively supported the preparation and facilitation of group sessions focused on three key topics: teenage pregnancy, career guidance, and peer pressure and personal hygiene. The sessions were highly interactive and engaging, giving students the opportunity to freely express their thoughts and share experiences. To wrap up, we brought everyone together for a final discussion to gather their feedback and conducted a brief assessment to evaluate their understanding of the topics covered.

Achievements:
More partnership opportunities for high school mentorship.

Unanticipated Achievements:
The level of engagement and support from the school principal

Supporting Partners:
Precious Tears Initiative, St Augustine Nyamonye Girls.
