Activity Purpose/ Summary:
An English session on “Guess the Word” was conducted to help children improve their vocabulary, communication, and critical thinking skills. The session featured interactive activities like I Spy and Charades, where the children identified, guessed, and acted out different words. These activities encouraged active participation, teamwork, and creativity, making learning English both engaging and enjoyable.
Personnel Input:
Better Me personnel facilitated the English session by introducing the topic “Guess the Word,” explaining the activities, guiding the children through I Spy and Charades, encouraging participation, and supporting learners as they built their vocabulary, communication skills, and confidence.
Achievements:
The children actively participated in Guess the Word, I Spy, and Charades. They improved their English vocabulary, communication, listening, and critical thinking skills while building confidence in expressing themselves and working together as a team.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The children participated more enthusiastically than expected. Even those who were initially shy became actively involved in the I Spy and Charades games, showing creativity, working well in teams, and confidently guessing and acting out words.
