Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The purpose of the activity was to teach students about plural nouns in English—how to form them, the rules for regular and irregular plurals, and how to use them in sentences. The session combined explanations, group exercises, and interactive practice, aiming to build both understanding and confidence in using plural forms correctly.
Personnel Input:
Better Me personnel led the lesson on plural nouns, breaking down the rules into simple, engaging explanations. We facilitated activities like call-and-response practice, group sentence building, and correction games.
Achievements:
The class successfully introduced students to the concept of plural nouns, and by the end of the session, participants were able to identify and form both regular and irregular plurals.
Unanticipated Achievements:
Several students who are usually quiet participated enthusiastically during the games, volunteering answers without hesitation. A few even started helping their peers by explaining plural rules in their own words, showing that they not only understood the material but could also teach it back.
