Activity Purpose/ Summary:
On Tuesday, we facilitated an engaging English class with the older boys at the Remand, centered on the use of adverbs, specifically focusing on their application in manner, time, and place. The primary purpose of the session was to enhance the boys’ grammar skills, fostering their ability to construct clear and expressive sentences. The session involved active participation as the boys listed examples of adverbs and used them to create meaningful sentences, reinforcing their understanding and practical application.

Personnel Input:
My role involved guiding the boys, offering examples, clarifying concepts, and encouraging creativity in sentence construction.

Achievements:
The achievements included improved comprehension of adverbs and their contexts of use, increased confidence among the boys in forming grammatically correct sentences, and a noticeable eagerness to apply new vocabulary.

Unanticipated Achievements:
An unexpected achievement was the boys’ enthusiasm and ability to create unique and contextually relevant sentences, showcasing creativity and a deeper level of engagement than anticipated.
