Activity Purpose/ Summary:
We commemorated the Day of the African Child with a community engagement and student advocacy event. The day began with a morning procession from Kondele to the school, followed by student talent showcases and presentations from child officers and government officials.
Personnel Input:
Better Me joined the morning procession from Kondele to help ensure student safety.
Achievements:
Successfully organized a high-visibility public procession to honor the Day of the African Child. The event gave students a valuable platform to showcase their talents and creative activities, while also opening up direct dialogue between the school community and local policymakers.
Unanticipated Achievements:
The morning procession through Kondele attracted a lot of positive attention and vibrant energy from the local community.
