Activity Purpose/ Summary:
The art class at Madoma Korando School aimed to nurture creativity, self-expression, and confidence among learners through drawing and artistic activities. Participants took part in guided art exercises that encouraged imagination, teamwork, and communication. The session offered a safe and enjoyable environment where learners could freely express their thoughts and emotions through creative work.
Personnel Input:
Better Me personnel facilitated the art session by guiding learners through a variety of drawing and creative activities. They offered encouragement, demonstrated artistic techniques, provided individual support, and promoted active participation. The facilitators also fostered a positive learning environment that inspired creativity and built self-confidence.
Achievements:
Successfully engaged 35 learners in creative art activities.
Helped participants build confidence in expressing themselves through art.
Encouraged teamwork, focus, and creativity among learners.
Created a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.
Strengthened relationships between facilitators and learners.
Unanticipated Achievements:
A positive surprise was the high level of enthusiasm and creativity shown by the learners. Several participants who were initially shy became actively involved and confidently shared their artwork with the group. The activity also revealed some hidden artistic talents among the learners.
